Smooth PDO Threading
The benefits of smooth threads are the long-lasting skin enhancement results achieved with this treatment. Smooth threads are great for improving skin texture, fine lines, scares and skin laxity. However, patience is necessary when being treated with smooth threads, as results are gradual and noticeable after four weeks. The results then continue to improve for the life of the threads which is six months and lasts up to two years. Laser Hair Removal
Saffron utilizes the Candela Gentle YAG® Laser for laser hair removal If you're not happy with shaving, tweezing, or waxing to remove unwanted hair, laser hair removal may be an option worth considering. Laser hair removal is one of the most commonly done cosmetic procedures in the U.S. It beams highly concentrated light into hair follicles. Pigment in the follicles absorb the light. That destroys the hair. Benefits of Laser Hair Removal Lasers are useful for removing unwanted hair from the face, leg, chin, back, arm, underarm, bikini line, and other areas. Benefits of laser hair removal include: Precision. Lasers can selectively target dark, coarse hairs while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. Speed. Each pulse of the laser takes a fraction of a second and can treat many hairs at the same time. The laser can treat an area approximately the size of a quarter every second. IPL Photo rejuvenation
An IPL (intense pulsed light) photofacial is a versatile skin rejuvenation treatment. •The first IPL device was FDA approved in 1995, to treat dilated blood vessels called telangiectasia, aka spider veins. •IPL photofacials can also treat vascular lesions and pigmented lesions. •Dermatologists frequently use it for photorejuvenation, to decrease brown spots from sun damage. •It can also minimize broken capillaries and redness, including rosacea, acne, and acne scars. •Though not its main indication, an IPL photofacial treatment can also stimulate collagen production and improve signs of aging, like fine lines and wrinkles. An IPL device works by delivering an arc of light energy that penetrates all levels of the skin, without harming the surface (the epidermis), so there’s little to no downtime afterward. This light treatment can be performed on the face, hands, neck, chest, and legs. The size of the head of the IPL device is usually larger than most laser spot sizes, which allows for rapid treatment of large body areas. Most people need a series of IPL photofacial treatments to see optimal results. They’re typically performed three to four weeks apart.

Visia® Skin Analysis
The Visia Complexion Analysis system is extremely simple to use. As you sit comfortably in a treatment room, the image capture module rotates around you. The unit captures numerous images that overlay to ensure clarity and accuracy of the final, viewable photos that will be analyzed by system’s software. Prior to our team even looking at the images with clients, the system itself will analyze a number of variables, including providing us with a complete and accurate complexion and skin type analysis. Then, we can use the software to explore potential skin health concerns, areas of discoloration or damage, and to create a precise representation of the results associated with a number of treatments. From diagnosis and treatment planning to tracking the results of specific procedures or therapies, the Visia Complexion Analysis system is an invaluable new tool. Many imaging systems check for one or even a handful of skin differences, but the innovative cross-polarized UV lighting measures both surface and subsurface skin conditions. The high-quality imaging separates red and brown skin pigmentation for complete clarity and accurate diagnosis. The imaging software can be used to take a closer look at a range of conditions including: Spots or discoloration of skin typically red or brown in coloring that may be a natural part of the complexion or indicative of health concerns Wrinkles and fine lines, viewing these areas in detail is especially important for demonstrating progress to patients who undergo treatments like injectables or fillers to reduce their appearance Raised and depressed areas (texture) of skin that can be indicative of overall skin condition and health The appearance of pores and sweat glands are monitored for skin health in those with acne, boils, and a number of other skin concerns UV spots caused by the absorption of UV light by the melanin just below the skin’s surface, which is a natural process that can also be indicative of a risk for skin cancer Porphyrins or bacterial skin secretions that can be lodged in pores, leading to inflammation, infection, and a number of other issues. Dry-Eye Disease Treatment
IPL is a drug free, drop free light-based treatment, which targets the root causes – chronic inflammation. IPL treats periocular inflammatory conditions such as Rosacea and telangiectasia, which may lead to ocular surface conditions such as Dry Eyes. 80% of rosacea patients suffer from Meibomian Gland Dysfunction. Reduces inflammatory mediators Decreases the level of pro inflammatory mediators, progressing the inflammation. Alleviates Abnormal Blood vessels Destroys the abnormal blood vessels that are perpetuating the inflammation. Decreases Demodex mites which are stimulating infection leading to inflammation.
Vitamin B12 Injections
One of the most common symptoms of B12 deficiency is increased fatigue or lack of energy levels. What's interesting is that we know why this happens: Vitamin B12 (along with other B vitamins) is required for proper energy production in your mitochondria. Recall from basic biology that your mitochondria produce "energy" for your body in the form of a molecule called ATP (adenosine triphosphate). The number of mitochondria in your cells and muscles and how effective they are working determine your subjective sense of "energy". Anything that lowers energy production in the mitochondria may manifest as fatigue. Vitamin B12 plays an important role in this process as you can see below: Vitamin B12 and energy production In addition, it has been shown in studies that supplementing with B12 can increase energy levels (2). This is why vitamin B12 is put into "energy drinks" and other supplements that are meant to boost vitamin B12. But here's the most important part: One of the main reasons for Vitamin B12 deficiency is due to malabsorption of vitamin B12 in our GI tract. So basically, you can be consuming B12 in your diet (or even taking supplements with B12) but not actually absorbing it. This is why one of the main benefits of taking B12 shots is increased energy levels. By taking a shot you are bypassing the GI tract and allowing for 100% absorption into the body straight into the cells (which is where B12 has its action). If you are taking Vitamin B12 supplements and not feeling any different than it may be due to a lack of absorption.
